Marc Bauer

Marc Bauer works with drawings, videos and sculptures. When he draws, mostly with graphite, charcoal and black pen, he plays with the idea of the ‘original’ and the ‘reproduction’ by translating the original drawings into digital prints that are then glued directly on the wall. Memory is a central theme and he’s especially interested in blurring the edges of his personal history with painful episodes of History.
